The Department of Computer Science at the University of New Brunswick in Saint John invites applications for an 8-month term Assistant Teaching Professor position with the potential for renewal beginning August 28, 2023. This position is subject to budgetary approval. The Department offers a 4-year degree program in Computer Science with specializations in software engineering, networking, and data analytics. It also offers a Minor in Computer Science, a Certificate in Computing, and a Certificate in Data Analytics. Candidates for the position must have a Ph.D. in Computer Science or closely related discipline and demonstrated excellence in teaching. While applicants with an interest in any area of Computer Science will be considered, those with training and experience in a variety of areas (i.e., covering a wider range of courses offered by the Department) will be given preference. Responsibilities include teaching and assisting in university academic service.
