We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Assistant Office Manager to assist with the management of daily operations of our office. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in administrative functions of an office environment with experience in payroll, book keeping and accounts payable/receivable. This role is essential for ensuring smooth operations, effective communication, and optimal team performance within the organization.
Duties
The primary functions of this position are
Full cycle accounting including payroll
Preparing and submitting invoices
Government and Union remitting
Providing direction and training to administrative assistant
Delegate and provide guidance and support as needed.
Manage payroll processes and assist with human resources tasks.
Organize schedules, manage calendars, and coordinate appointments for team members.
Ensure proper filing systems are in place for efficient document retrieval.
Foster a positive work environment through effective team management and communication.
Experience
Proven experience in book keeping, and accounts payable/receivable.
Experience with database management.
Experience in human resources functions including payroll processing.
Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail in all tasks.
Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact effectively with staff and clients.
