This individual will be a critical member of our team who will champion change and recommend business actions based on your financial analysis. The person in this role will be responsible for the full cycle accounting, HR and administration which includes payroll, as well as facilities management.   • All financial and accounting functions
  • Manage day-to-day operations to ensure timely and accurate financial reporting
  • Preparing financial statements and reports
  • Reconciling accounts and sub-ledgers
  • Monitoring cash flow and update leadership on forecast and projections
  • Providing risk analysis
  • Support annual budget and monthly revenue projection process
  • Support year-end process along with annual financial audits and tax filings
  • Provide assistance as required to support business operations
  • Assist with employee onboarding contracts, equipment procurement and tracking along with customer contracts
  • Work directly with provincial and federal funding agencies to manage relationships, complete applications and secure funding

Requirements:
  • Three to five years experience in a similar role
  • Have an accounting designation or are working towards it
  • Strong leadership and problem solving skills
  • Analytical and Excel skills
  • Experience using accounting systems
  • Very strong organizational skills
