Job Description

Our client located in Aurora is looking for an Assistant Controller for a 3-months contract opportunity; working on a hybrid model (2-3 days onsite). Reporting to the Controller and providing guidance to junior team members, the incumbent will be responsible for both; corporate accounting and FP& A. Allocating most of the responsibilities to the accounting side and looking after their legal entities, this role provides a full spectrum of the accounting cycle, from monthly financial reporting review and analysis, to financial statement preparation (the Assistant Controller will be tasked with month-end close, general ledger, reporting, reconciliations, entries consolidation, while also will provide financial planning insights, conducting variance analysis, etc.)

The Assistant Controller will have:
- Accounting designation.
- Solid professional accounting experience
- Strong systems skills (SAP highly preferred)
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
