Position: Assistant Controller
Location: Laval
Salary: Up to $70,000 based on experience

Our client, a well-established manufacturer in the food industry located in Laval, is looking to hire an Assistant Controller to join their growing team.

Responsibilities:

- Supervise the accounts payable and receivables
- Assist with monthly, quarterly and year-end analyses
- Perform bank reconciliations
- Coordinate or assist with the budget process
- Research accounting issues for compliance
- Analyze and report cost variances
- Serve as a liaison to external auditors
- Handle GST / QST
- Support other departments as needed

Qualifications:

- DEC or Bachelor\'s degree in Accounting
- 5 years of experience in manufacturing an asset
- Bilingual oral and written
- Proficiency in MS Office, Sage X3, an asset
