We are seeking a skilled and passionate Chef to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in the food industry, with strong expertise in ingredient preparation and food safety. This position requires creativity, precision, and professionalism, with the ability to maintain high-quality standards in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
Key Responsibilities
Prepare and cook high-quality dishes in accordance with the restaurant's menu and standards.
Maintain cleanliness, organization, and adherence to food safety regulations in the kitchen.
Monitor inventory levels to ensure sufficient ingredient supply at all times.
Independently develop new menu items and enhance existing dishes.
Efficiently manage prep and cooking processes to ensure consistency and timely service.
Perform effectively under high-pressure and fast-paced service conditions.
Train new staff and support the continuous improvement of kitchen operations.
Requirements
Proven experience in the food industry, preferably in a restaurant or commissary kitchen environment.
Strong understanding of food safety regulations and proper ingredient handling.
Excellent culinary skills with creativity in dish development.
Strong communication skills to work effectively with both team members and management.
Highly organized with strong attention to detail.
Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Minimum of 5 years of kitchen experience.
Must be available to work
over 40 hours per week
as required by operational needs.
Must hold a valid work permit.
