Frontier Mosakahiken School is a Nursery to Grade 12 school with approximately 415 students. The school is located in Moose Lake which is 100 km east of The Pas, Manitoba (a full service community) and is accessible by road. This lakeside community's natural beauty provides for an abundance of outdoor recreation opportunities.

Qualifications:

Bachelor of Education Degree, Diploma in Industrial Arts/Technology Teacher Education Valid Manitoba Teaching Certificate (or eligibility for) Previous Applied Technology teaching/industry experience preferred A sound knowledge of provincial Applied Technology curricula Knowledge of Indigenous Way of Life Strong classroom management skills Experience working in a northern community A willingness to inquire into best practices and reflect on practices A team player committed to the belief that all students can learn Self-motivated
