Your Opportunity
Our Yellowknife office has an immediate opportunity for a full time Administrative Assistant to join our Buildings group.
Your Key Responsibilities
Main reception duties, including answering calls and greeting clients.
Order office supplies and maintain office equipment.
Coordinate shipping and receiving.
Code accounts payable invoices.
Support administration activities such as health and safety, equipment ordering, and booking travel.
Organize social events, meeting spaces, lunches, etc.
Coordinate with other administrative support to complete tasks.
Present a positive and professional image of the office to all colleagues, visitors, suppliers, and other people
Qualifications
Your Capabilities and Credentials
A valid Class 5 Driver's License.
Excellent research, writing, organizational, and communication skills
Detail oriented
Ability to work independently, take initiative, and multi-task to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
Experience working with teams in multiple offices
Excellent working knowledge of Microsoft Office products with emphasis on Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook
Experience with SharePoint is a plus
Confidence in interacting with all levels of management and clients
Experience within the Architectural/Engineering/Construction industry is a plus
