Overview


Our busy and client-focused law office is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented

Administrative Assistant

to join our team. This role plays a key part in ensuring smooth daily operations and professional communication within the firm. The ideal candidate will have strong clerical and communication skills, a high level of discretion, and a commitment to client service in a legal environment.

Key Responsibilities



Manage front-line communications, including answering calls, greeting clients, and responding to emails with professionalism and confidentiality. Coordinate schedules and appointments for lawyers and legal staff. Perform general administrative duties such as data entry, document preparation, filing, and mail handling. Support client intake, file opening/closing, and records management in compliance with legal standards. Maintain office supply inventory and order materials as required. Assist with billing, invoicing, and expense tracking. Work closely with lawyers and assistants to ensure the smooth flow of work within the office.

Qualifications



Prior experience as an Administrative Assistant; legal office experience is preferred but not mandatory. Proficiency in Microsoft Office computer programs (Word, Outlook, Excel) and other general office software programs Familiarity with office phone systems, multi-line systems, and general office equipment. Strong interpersonal skills and a professional manner when dealing with clients, both in person and by phone. Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail are essential. Discretion and the ability to maintain confidentiality in a legal setting.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.00-$25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
