Job Description

- Established in 1967 in South Korea, Husteel Co., Ltd. is a leader in the global steel pipe industry, known for our high-quality products and innovative technologies.

- Husteel manufactures and markets a variety of steel pipes such as line pipes, oil country tubular goods, structural pipes, and polyethylene-coated steel pipes used in manufacturing, construction, and energy infrastructure.

- In 2014 we proudly established a contact office in Vancouver, BC, and incorporated in 2018 to better support the needs of Oil and gas companies in Canada

- We supply our products to many and critical infrastructure projects in Western Canada, including the jet fuel pipelines the airports, upstream/midstream pipelines, and construction sector

Key responsibilities:



the company and its subsidiary



? Accounting/Finance

- Bookkeeping, cost accounting management (COGS, expense, etc.)

? Purchase/sales management

- AP management for the purchase and other goods & services associated with the purchase such as local transportation and handling charges, etc.

- AR management for the sales including preparing sales invoice

- Purchase/sales data entry to ERP system

- Coordinate with the parent company in Korea, customers, and suppliers

- Coordinate with customs broker for Customs clearance

- Coordinate with freight forwarder for logistics

? Claim management

- Coordinate with the insurer in case transit damage occurs

- Coordinate with the manufacturer in case of quality defects

- Prepare credit/debit note for compensation

? Operation

- Review and control vacation/sick leave/overtime

- Review and control company expenses according to the corporate regulations

- Corporate credit cards control

? General administrative support

- Purchase/replace/organize the office supplies

Coordinate and arrange with events, business travel, etc.

Qualifications:



Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field (preferred). 2-5 years of experience in sales/operation/accounting/admin, preferably in the steel, international trading or related industry. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Self-motivated and results-oriented with a strong work ethic. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Proficiency in Korean is preferred
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $40,000.00-$70,000.00 per year
