Administrative & Events Intern
to support our team with internal organization, event planning, marketing coordination, and company documentation.
This role is ideal for a student, co-op participant, or recent graduate looking to gain experience in the business side of entertainment, events, and creative production.
Key Responsibilities
Administrative Support:
Maintain the company calendar, schedule team tasks, and set project reminders and deadlines
Organize and manage the company email inbox (sending, receiving, tagging, and prioritizing communications)
Prepare and update internal documents such as budgets, spreadsheets, proposals, and offer letters using Afrobass templates
Maintain an organized internal documentation system for easy access to project and operational files
Track tasks and flag overdue project items, ensuring deadlines are updated and followed up on
Support communication with vendors and contractors, either directly or by scheduling reminders for team execution
Event Coordination:
Assist with planning and logistics for events in Toronto (venue coordination, vendor communication, guest lists, schedules, etc.)
Track budget and expenses for event projects using Excel or Google Sheets
Join meetings, take notes, and ensure follow-up on event planning action items
Marketing Coordination (Future Responsibilities):
Help outline basic marketing rollout plans and assign or track marketing-related tasks
Assist in the collection and organization of graphic and video assets from creative team members for upcoming campaigns
Prepare documents and email templates for outreach, proposals, and promotional offers
Support the setup of email campaigns and newsletters using tools like Mailchimp (training can be provided)
Ideal Candidate Will Have:
G2 or G Class driver's license
(preferred for local errands or on-site support)
Strong attention to detail, time management, and ability to follow through on tasks
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Basic knowledge of Google Workspace or Microsoft Office (Docs, Sheets, Excel, etc.)
Highly organized and self-motivated with a proactive, problem-solving mindset
Interest in event planning, music, marketing, or entertainment industries
Ability to work independently while staying accountable to deadlines
Position Details:
This is an
unpaid internship/co-op opportunity
- ideal for students seeking experience, course credit, or a foot in the door in creative production and events
Flexible work hours, with a mix of remote work and occasional in-person support
