We're currently seeking a motivated and friendly Administrative Assistant to join our Mount Pearl office. What you'll do:

As an Administrative Assistant with Locke's, you'll play a key role in creating a well-organized and efficient office environment. Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

• Answering and directing incoming phone calls.
• Greeting and welcoming visitors, ensuring a positive and professional first impression.
• Manage incoming and outgoing mail and courier deliveries.
• Filing, scanning, and maintaining company records both digital and physical in an organized and confidential manner.
• Assisting with booking travel arrangements and accommodation for team members.
• Triaging emails and routine inquiries to the appropriate contacts.
• Assisting with data entry and maintaining accurate records in company systems and databases.
• Monitoring and ordering office supplies to keep operations running smoothly.
• Assist with maintaining a clean and organized office, ensuring it's always tidy and ready for use.
• Coordinating office maintenance services to ensure a clean and functional workplace.
• Handling confidential information with discretion and professionalism.
• Assisting with ad hoc administrative projects and process improvements.
• Assisting with Purchase Orders and Credit Card/Fuel Reconciliations.

What you'll bring:

• Proven experience in administrative support or office coordination.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong organizational abilities and attention to detail.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams, M365).
• Ability to prioritize tasks and multitask in a dynamic work environment.
• Positive and professional attitude with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
• Experience using Maestro software an asset.
• Knowledge and experience in construction an asset.
