Position Overview:

To provide administrative support to the Site Manager and the Main Operating Base (MOB) Comox Canadian SAR Helicopter Team.
What You Will Do:
---------------------
Provide general day to day administrative support to the Site Manager and MOB staff including typing memos, presentations, and proposals, distributing mail, answering phones, taking minutes etc.
Prepare all applicable paperwork associated with Person Responsible for Assignment Authority (PRAA) authorization.
Maintain correspondence and filing systems.
Take minutes at meetings.
Coordinate acquisition of office supplies for MOB.
Coordinate staff and visitor travel requirements and prepare travel claims.
Coordinate MOB visitor security arrangements.
Maintain MOB vacation request and CTO software.
Complete daily timekeeping requirements.
Assist in tracking daily and monthly financial transactions by reconciling and reporting corporate credit card expenditures, petty cash reports and other processes as required.
Coordinate, standardize, update routine office lists, forms and registers; amend Standard Plant Procedures, Administrative Directive, Quality Standard Procedures, etc.
Coordinate MOB submissions to Worksafe BC.
Other tasks as assigned by the Site Manager.
What You Will Bring:

Must have Grade 12 High School completion certificate.
Minimum of five years experience in related administrative role.
Excellent typing skills.
Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite products.
Experience taking and preparing minutes of meetings.
Knowledge in general business office practices.
Demonstrate a personal commitment to IMP Occupational Health, Safety and Environment policies.
Continually focusing on your individual safety and the safety of others who may be affected by your work and to fully comply with all Federal Health and Safety Legislation.
Participate in Continuous Improvement, Lean & 5S activities in your area.
Must be eligible to meet requirements for Canadian Controlled Goods Program (CGP), U.S. International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) and Canadian government security clearances.
