Job Overview


We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Administrative Assistant to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our office by providing essential administrative support. This position requires excellent organizational skills, a strong customer service orientation, and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.

Duties



Perform general office duties including scheduling, payment collection, and managing correspondence with patients. Answer phone calls and direct inquiries to the appropriate personnel while maintaining a professional demeanor. Greet visitors at the front desk and provide exceptional customer service. Assist in scheduling appointments and managing calendars for staff members. Maintain accurate records and databases to ensure efficient data management. Operate office equipment such as copiers, fax machines, and phone systems to facilitate daily operations. Assist physiotherapist with patient removal from modalities such as Traction or Inversion tables.

Skills



Experience with extended health insurance and WSIB billing Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with clients and team members. Experience as a dental receptionist or in a similar administrative role is preferred but not required. Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail to manage multiple tasks simultaneously. Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment. Familiarity with front desk operations and general office procedures is advantageous.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $17.20-$20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20 - 40 per week
