Job Description

Answer and Direct Phone Calls, Emails, and Other Correspondence:

Respond promptly to incoming phone calls, emails, and other correspondence. Direct incoming calls to appropriate individuals or departments as necessary.
Prepare and Modify Documents:

Draft and revise various documents, including reports, drafts, memos, and emails, to ensure accuracy and completeness. Format documents for different audiences and media platforms, including print, digital, and interactive formats. Ensure that documents adhere to organizational and professional standards.
Compose Newsletters and Request Donations:

Compose engaging newsletters and solicitations for donations. Tailor content to resonate with specific audiences and interests. Monitor the effectiveness of fundraising campaigns and make necessary adjustments.
Support Regularly Scheduled Reports and Presentations:

Assist in the preparation and presentation of regularly scheduled reports and presentations. Collaborate with the director to develop and produce media episode scripts, demonstrating writing, editing, and storytelling skills. Adapt tone, structure, and content format to suit different audiences and media platforms.
Research and Identify Funding Opportunities:

Conduct thorough research to identify relevant funding opportunities, such as grants, sponsorships, or donor programs. Support the preparation, writing, and submission of application forms and required documentation. Monitor the progress of funding applications and ensure timely follow-ups.
Collaborate with the Marketing Team:

Collaborate with the marketing team to create web pages, social media content, blog posts, and email campaigns. Contribute to the development and implementation of marketing strategies.
Coordinate Key Initiatives:

Assist in the coordination of key initiatives by tracking tasks, monitoring progress, and ensuring timely follow-ups with project owners. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to achieve project goals.
Provide General Administrative Support:

Provide general administrative support to streamline operations and enhance productivity. Maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
Other Duties as Assigned:

Perform other tasks as requested by the director.
Job Types: Full-time, Seasonal
Contract length: 2 months

Pay: $17.20 per hour

Expected hours: 35 per week
