AWGTA Ltd is a food service management company equipped with the resources to provide professional management services to A&W quick service restaurants in Ontario. This is a 100% Canadian owned family run organization. Our Team consists of experienced food service operators that own A&W restaurants. Presently we provide services to twenty two locations in the Greater Toronto Area and outlying areas, with expressed desire and commitment to grow within the province of Ontario.

As Administrative Assistant, you will apply your organizational and multitasking skills to a variety of administrative and bookkeeping duties. The ideal candidate will be a team player with meticulous work standards, be able to multitask and have exemplary interpersonal skills.

Job Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Perform accounting and clerical functions to support management and office team
  • Compile and sort all mail, invoices & checks
  • Managing uniform inventory & ordering
  • Ordering office and restaurant supplies as required
  • Photocopying, filing, maintaining storage room, ordering office supplies
  • Managing phone calls and correspondence
  • Process bills for payment and issue checks for accounts payable
  • Assisting the accounting department
  • Assisting upper management on day to day activities
  • Assist with all aspects of payroll (ROE\xe2\x80\x99s, Year End, Tax Adjustments etc.)

Job Requirements:
  • Post-secondary education in Accounting/ Business Degree
  • 1-year bookkeeping/administration experience
  • Proficient computer literacy is a must including Excel, QuickBooks and Payroll Processing Software.
  • Excellent organizational skills with a strong attention to detail
  • Strong problem solving and analytical skills
  • Demonstrated ability to operate effectively & efficiently in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to work independently as well as on a team
  • Strong written & verbal communication skills
  • Energetic & highly motivated
  • Attention to detail and highly organized
  • Able to meet deadlines in a fast-paced work environment
