The Administrative Assistant will be responsible for the day-to-day communications, office management and filing. These responsibilities include answering incoming phone calls, organizing appointments, generating account documentation, and assisting in bookeeping. Other tasks will include maintaining the cleanliness of the office, consolidating expense reports and ordering office supplies and equipment as needed. The Adminstrative Assistant will acquire a working basic knowledge of IT operations to effectively complete their role. This is an excellent starting point for new individuals in the technology field to gain an understanding of B2B support and begin their training/certification to move into support. At Danory, previous team members in this role have established a strong foundation to accelerate their IT career. Key Responsibliities
  • Answer and direct phone calls
  • Organize and schedule appointments
  • Plan meetings and take detailed minutes
  • Write and distribute email, correspondence memos, letters, faxes and forms
  • Assist in the preparation of regularly scheduled reports
  • Order office supplies as needed
  • Maintain and Update contact lists
  • Consolidate expense reports
  • Provide general support to visitors
  • Assist with Accounts Payables and Receivables
Qualifications & Experience
  • General Knowledge of office management systems and procedures
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office
  • Excellent time management skills and the ability to prioritize work
  • Attention to detail and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to multi-task
  • High School diploma; additional experience as an Administrative assistant is an asset
  • A healthy interest in technology, previous experience in a IT firm is an asset.
  • Experience with Social Media or Email Communication tools like Hootsuite or Mailchimp is an asset.

Schedule:

Education:
  • Secondary School (preferred)
Experience:
  • Front desk: 1 year (preferred)
