We are excited to once again partner with our long term Edmonton based client in their search for an Administrative/Accounts Payable Clerk to join their team on a permanent basis!

If you have outstanding data entry skills, excellent attention to detail and strong computer skills this may be the position for you!

The Opportunity

Our well established Edmonton client is looking for a well organized, administrative/accounts payable clerk to join their team. Experience with Sage 50, accurate data entry skills and a strong attention to detail are key for this position.

Key Account Responsibilities and Functions

  • Process invoices and match with work orders, ensuring accuracy and completion.
  • Data entry of payable amounts into an inhouse portal.
  • Entry of invoices payable into Sage 50.
  • Preparation and processing of twice monthly cheque runs for invoice payments.
  • Maintain vendor records and update them regularly with accurate contact and payment information.
  • Respond to all vendor inquiries and resolve issues promptly and professionally.
  • Provide administrative support to the accounting team with ad-hoc projects and tasks as required.
  • Assist other departments with clerical tasks such as filing and photocopying as required.
  • Other various tasks as they relate to the day to day business needs.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Minimum 2 years of related experience.
  • Working knowledge of Sage 50.
  • Experience working within an auto dealership and asset.
  • Intermediate MS Office skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Must thrive while working in a busy fast paced environment.
  • Must be a confident, professional self-starter with exceptional communication skills and have the ability to multi task.
  • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills.
  • Must enjoy working in a team based environment and be professional, courteous and friendly with all internal and external clients.
