Job Description

We are seeking a detail oriented and reliable part-time

Accounts Payable Clerk

to join our team. This role plays an important part in ensuring vendors are paid accurately and on time, and in supporting the overall finance function.

Key Responsibilities



Process vendor invoices accurately and in a timely manner Match invoices to purchase orders and receiving documents Prepare and process payments by cheque, EFT, or wire Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies Maintain organized and up to date accounts payable records Respond to vendor inquiries professionally and promptly Assist with month end closing and reporting as required Support the finance team with ad hoc administrative tasks

Qualifications



Previous experience in accounts payable or a similar accounting role Strong attention to detail and accuracy Ability to manage deadlines in a fast paced environment Proficiency with accounting software and Microsoft Excel Strong organizational and communication skills Experience working in the construction industry is an asset but not required
