Community First Developments Inc., a trusted name in property management, is currently seeking a skilled and experienced Accounts Payable Clerk to join our dynamic team. The Accounts Payable Clerk will be responsible for processing vendor invoices, preparing payments, and maintaining accurate financial records. This role supports the day-to-day financial operations of the organization and requires strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with property managers and internal departments.



Key Responsibilities



Maintain vendor master data in accounting system. Process incoming vendor invoices, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and timely entry into the accounting system. Review and verify invoices for proper coding, correct expense allocation, and compliance with internal policies and controls. Coordinate with property managers and other departments to resolve discrepancies and ensure accurate invoicing. Prepare, execute, and distribute cheque runs, including arranging for signatures, sorting Assist with electronic payment processing and cheque preparation as required. Ensure all payments are accurately recorded and matched with corresponding invoices. Maintain organized and up-to-date records of invoices, payments, vendor information, and supporting documentation. Manage the accounts payable filing system and document retention processes. Support the development and improvement of procedures to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of the Accounts Payable function. Other duties as assigned

Qualifications & Skills



1-3 years of experience in accounts payable or a related accounting role Strong attention to detail and accuracy when processing financial documents. Proficiency with accounting software and Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook). Excellent organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team environment. Knowledge of accounting principles and invoice processing best practices is an asset.

Pay: From $45,000.00 per year
