Accounts Payable Clerk
to join our accounting department and support our day-to-day financial operations.
Key Responsibilities
Process vendor invoices and verify supporting documents (POs, packing slips, etc.)
Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies promptly
Prepare weekly payment runs and ensure timely payments
Maintain accurate records of all accounts payable transactions
Communicate with vendors and internal departments regarding payment status
Assist with month-end closing, accruals, and other accounting duties as required
Qualifications
Minimum 2 years of experience in Accounts Payable or general accounting
Proficient in Microsoft Excel and accounting software (QuickBooks experience preferred)
Strong attention to detail and accuracy
Excellent organizational and communication skills
Ability to work independently and in a team environment
Work Hours
Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM
On-site position at our Richmond head office
