We are seeking a highly energetic, organized, and detail-oriented Accounts Payable Clerk to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for processing invoices, handling cash & credit card transactions, and ensuring accurate inventory costing. This fast-paced busy role requires the candidate to work hard and it involves working closely with other team members, vendors, and customers.

Duties

Process Accounts Payable invoices for payment, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies. Daily cash handling and credit card transactions balancing. Assisting Controller with recording staff gratuities for Payroll Maintain vendor, customer, and staff expense accounts. Updating Inventory costs for Lounge, Kitchen, and Pro Shop areas based on supplier invoices. Utilizing Sage Accounting software and Moneris systems. Accounts Receivable payments posted to customer accounts as necessary Hours would be 9 am to 5 pm preferred with overtime as approved by the Controller Deposits to the bank as necessary. Other accounting duties as assigned by the Controller.

Experience

At least 3 years previous experience as an Accounts Payable Clerk or in a similar junior accounting role is required Experience with cash and credit card handling. Familiarity with Sage accounting software is an asset. Strong understanding of accounting processes. Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills are essential for success in this role. Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment while managing multiple priorities effectively. A history of being energetic, outgoing, and helpful in all situations. Knowledge of the golf industry is an asset as there are free golfing privileges.

Pay: $23.00-$27.00 per hour
