Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Accounts Payable Clerk to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for processing invoices, managing vendor relationships, and ensuring accurate financial records. This role requires proficiency in various accounting software and strong data entry skills to support the company's financial operations efficiently. Experience with Great Plains Accounting software would be an asset. The successful candidate will play a vital role in maintaining accurate accounts payable processes and supporting overall accounting functions.

Duties

Process and verify invoices using accounting software such as Great Plains Perform account reconciliation to ensure accuracy of financial data Manage accounts payable transactions and ensure timely payments to vendors Maintain vendor records and update account information regularly Assist with accounts receivable tasks and coordinate with the finance team for smooth cash flow management Prepare reports related to accounts payable activities for management review

Qualifications

Proven experience with accounting software Strong data entry skills with high accuracy and attention to detail Knowledge of accounts payable processes and account reconciliation procedures Familiarity with accounts receivable functions is a plus Excellent organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment Prior bookkeeping or accounting experience is highly desirable
