Resorts of the Canadian Rockies is seeking an energetic individual with a passion for outdoor recreation to join our Accounting team.

Your responsibilities:

Reviewing and processing accounts payable invoices and resolving discrepancies Issuing payments within company guidelines including weekly cheque runs and on demand payments Vendor communication and statement reconciliation Communicate with resorts questions, variances or concerns on invoices/accounts Approval for Expenditure form tracking, numbering and reporting Work with and build a strong relationship with other departments to facilitate AP information exchange Working with team members to ensure accurate data entry and that all deadlines are met Miscellaneous bookkeeping duties Processing expense reports which includes ensuring verification of receipts, confirming authorization, coding and data entry Vendor statement reconciliation and maintenance of vendor files Miscellaneous filing and job-related duties as assigned Cross training within AP and other accounting areas to assist with vacation coverage

You:

Are enthusiastic and passionate for skiing and outdoor adventure Possess excellent time-management, organization and multi-tasking skills Maintain the ability to work well under pressure Must be able to work both independently and with a team Are proficient in Microsoft Excel Demonstrate a pleasant and professional demeanor

Required Experience:

Certificate or diploma in accounting, business, or other related area 1-2 years experience in accounts payable Self-starter with ability to work in a high volume, fast paced environment Knowledge of ACCPAC will be an asset Previous bookkeeping experience will be an asset
