A day in the life...



As an Accounting Assistant, you begin the day by preparing daily deposits and updating spreadsheets. Throughout the morning, you verify and process all invoices, ensuring they have obtained the necessary authorizations for payment. With an eye for detail, you reconcile statements of account and the ledger, ensuring all payments occur within the dealership's time frames. Vehicle deals are processed and gross profits calculated, ensuring that all financial aspects of sales transactions are accurately recorded. As the day progresses, you document sales operations and reconcile them with the accounting records. You assist with the monthly closing of accounts and prepare detailed account analyses.

• Detail-oriented and accurate in all work and communication.
• AR and AP experience required.
• Dealership experience is considered an asset.
• High level of proficiency in Microsoft Office Applications (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Excellent customer service skills with positive and courteous telephone etiquette.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to interact professionally with both co-workers and our guests.
• Data entry skills.
