Your Mission:

Narcity Media is looking to hire an Account Manager to join our Drive-Thru team. The Account Manager will be reporting to the Product Manager. The Account Manager should have a passion for sponsored content initiatives and increasing customer retention and engagement to grow the product.

The right person should be a go-getter, a self-starter, and a superb communicator. They should strive to deliver best-in-class client service and support to clients. They will be responsible for building relationships with clients and maintaining client satisfaction, creating and optimizing campaigns, and building campaign strategies that directly impact revenue growth.

Your Responsibilities:

1. Ensuring Smooth Business Relationships

  • Build and sustain long-term relationships with new and recurring (existing) clients through networking, referrals and outbound tactics when needed.
  • Manage and develop client accounts to initiate and maintain favourable relationships.
  • Assist with challenging client requests or issue escalations as needed.
  • Conduct periodical meetings and maintain ongoing communication with clients to ensure their satisfaction and retention.
2. Strategic and Analytical Planning
  • Provide the client with all information to help them choose a campaign plan (strategy) that best fits their objectives, needs, expectations, and requirements.
  • Identify upsell opportunities and suggest additional services to the client to keep growing revenue.
3. Managing, producing and tracking campaigns
  • Successfully guide clients through the campaign process with due diligence, provide outstanding client service/support, and grow the client business relationship.
  • Own the relationship with assigned clients, including onboarding, implementation, training, adoption, retention, and satisfaction.
  • Produce quality content for the client\'s campaign in an efficient manner. Ensure that the client\'s key messages are understood.
  • Pay attention to detail and communicate effectively - ensure clients have everything they need to work towards their campaign deadlines.
  • Review campaign performance and develop recommendations and solutions to replicate campaign successes and overcome challenges.
4. Working closely with a Team
  • Continuous training, innovation, and curiosity for our different product offerings and what our competitors are doing
  • Assist the Product Manager in driving further success.
Your Qualifications:
  • 1 + years of experience working in sales, customer service or a similar role.
  • Experience in delivering client-focused solutions based on customer needs.
  • Comfortable prioritizing tasks and working on multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent oral and written communication in both French and English (bilingual).
  • Experience working in SAAS is considered an asset.
  • Experience working in the media industry or with a digital marketing agency is an asset
  • Experience with Google Suite and social media platforms is an asset
  • Possessing a digital platform or social media certification is an asset.
  • Experience working with CRMs (e.g. Hubspot) is an asset.

Position Type & Salary Range:

This is a permanent remote position based anywhere in Canada because we are a flexible-first company. Compensation will be commensurate with experience.

$55,000 + commission
