Account Manager (contract)

Job Description


Wallop is looking for a contract Account Manager to manage accounts under the guidance of the Director of Sales. This is a temporary part-time 3-month contract to cover a leave of absence, with the potential of an extension to a full-time permanent role.
As the Account Manager, you\xe2\x80\x99ll be responsible for developing and maintaining client relationships and identifying opportunities to expand relationships with existing clients. It\'s critical that you have excellent accountability, communication, attention to detail, and problem-solving skills. You should be comfortable leading calls with decision-makers and senior managers.
On a day-to-day basis the Account Manager will:

  • Build and nurture long-term relationships with existing clients (opportunities, future growth plans, and strategy)
  • Plan, execute, and manage key accounts and determine product or service requirements; communicating directly with internal and external stakeholders to ensure alignment amongst the team
  • Collaborate and work closely with the Director of Sales on client relationships (this position reports directly to DOS)
  • Collaborate with the Digital Marketing, Production, and Project Management teams to plan, scope, and budget new and existing services
  • Promote and adhere to the workplace values of the company

  • Experience in account management, client success, support, or a related role
  • Excellent technical, communication, and people skills
  • Excellent planning, organizational, and time management skills
  • Ability to provide feedback to colleagues and stakeholders in a clear and constructive manner
  • Relationship building and conflict resolution skills
  • Strong attention to detail
