On target income (OTI) is composed of your base salary + commission/bonus structure. OTI is a forecast of your potential earnings for the role.My client is a global provider of enterprise software solutions designed for construction accounting and project management. Their software addresses industry-specific challenges faced by contractors, offering tools to improve efficiency, manage projects, and enhance financial control. With a focus on solving essential issues in the construction sector, they leverage their extensive expertise and international reach to deliver effective and targeted solutions.They are seeking a seasoned Account Executive to join their team. This dynamic individual will manage the entire sales cycle, from prospecting to closing deals, while also overseeing account management and concentrating on renewals of existing accounts.About the role:

  • Prospect, develop, and close opportunities with both new and existing customers.
  • Work closely with the Sales Engineering team to deliver targeted presentations, either onsite or online.
  • Engage with senior management and C-level executives within your assigned territory, effectively presenting product knowledge and preparing proposals and agreements.
  • Consistently meet and exceed sales quotas while managing your pipeline, accurately forecasting, and tracking daily activities in the CRM system (Salesforce experience is a plus).
  • Present sales reports as directed by management, network at industry trade shows and conferences, and collaborate with internal departments (Customer Service, Onboarding, Marketing, DevOps, IT, and Finance).
Qualifications and Experience:
  • Minimum 4 years of experience successfully selling construction software or ERP solutions.
  • Must have a hunter mentality and a proactive approach to identifying and pursuing new business opportunities.
  • General knowledge and understanding of accounting and project management requirements.
  • Excellent oral, written, product presentation and communication skills.
  • Salesforce CRM experience preferred.
  • Ability to work independently and multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to travel within Canada and the United States.
Compensation:
  • Base salary: $90,000-$105,000 USD
  • On target earnings: $150K-$200K USD
