As part of an industry-leading Professional Services Practice team, you will help empower results for our clients by delivering risk financing consulting and insurance/reinsurance broking services to large global Professional Services accounting and consulting firms.
As an Account Executive your primary focus is to build and strengthen relationships with both existing and new clients as well as leading and developing the client service team. The Account Executive acts to coordinate all Aon resources and to bring the best of Aon to ensure all of clients\xe2\x80\x99 needs and deliverables are promptly met with quality and innovation. Lead/manage a team of specialty lines professionals.
Coordinate captive, actuarial, and other consulting services available to clients. Possesses strong influence across the Aon organization to align resources to best serve the client\xe2\x80\x99s needs. Solves the clients most complex risk management problems.
Senior specialty (professional liability, cyber, employment practices liability and management/directors & officers liability) product line responsibility for all assigned clients including all communications, market interaction and related work product.
Maintenance of senior level underwriting relationships with commercial markets; oversight of all product line marketing and market relationships for team. Oversee negotiations with underwriters on difficult and/or complex renewals/new business opportunities.
Stays current on all relevant industry data and is pro-active in introducing innovative ideas to help clients contemplate risk management with new perspective.
Works at a strategic level to cultivate relationships with the client. Develop new client opportunities by being able to understand the Client, their industry and their risks and match them with potential Aon solutions. Penetration of all product line offerings including health & employee benefits.
Prepares and negotiates fee-based pricing of services, ensuring account profitability in a value-based approach for the scope of service and costs associated with the client service agreement.
Travel required. Skills and experience that will lead to success
Will consider candidates with insurance broking, underwriting, actuarial, captive, or commercial insurance and claims experience \xe2\x80\x93 preferably in the professional liability line. Corporate risk management experience, especially in a Professional Services firm environment is a plus.
Minimum seven to ten years in related insurance experience
Excellent communication and presentation skills, and interpersonal skills
Strong technical insurance knowledge in special lines, in particular professional liability, cyber, employment practices liability and management/directors & offices liability.
Strong client management relationship skills
Strong project management skill, strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Ability to manage, motivate and coach direct reports
Results oriented
Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s degree is required. MBA or other graduate degrees is a plus. Actuarial or CFA designations will be considered. Insurance licensing as required but not necessary to be considered. How we support our colleagues
