Youth Worker

Job Description
Youth Workers attend programs, model Momenta's values, and connect with participants. They must also be confident in participating in outdoor education, adventure sports (biking, hiking, cross-country skiing and canoeing), and forest school programming. Youth Workers attend team meetings and trainings, and always work with at least one other team member. They follow all policies and procedures, have exceptional communication skills, and are reliable.
Qualifications:
Experience in outdoor programs Experience working with children and youth First-Aid certification an asset Good communication skills Confidence in participating in hiking, biking, cross-country skiing and canoeing programs
Youth workers typically work 20 - 35 hours a week and are paid hourly at $17.00/hour. Employees working 20 hours a week can access our Employee Benefits Program, participate in training and professional development, and seek opportunities for advancement. Candidates must be available on weekends and evenings and be willing to travel.Individuals 18 years of age and older are welcome to apply.
