Position: Yardi Technical Business Analyst
Location: 2-3 days onsite downtown Toronto
Job Type: 18-month termOur client in the real estate industry, a leading Canadian non-bank mortgage lender, is seeking a highly skilled Senior Business Analyst for an 18-month contract to support their Yardi implementation project. This role is crucial for ensuring a seamless transition to the Yardi platform, which will support the company\'s diverse portfolio of commercial and industrial real estate mortgages across Canada and the United States.Responsibilities:- Act as the primary liaison between the implementation vendor, finance team, and other internal stakeholders.
- Conduct detailed business process analyses to identify and document business requirements, workflows, and system integration needs.
- Develop and maintain comprehensive project documentation, including project plans, requirement specifications, test plans, and training materials.
- Coordinate and participate in end-to-end system testing, ensuring the solution meets business requirements.
- Facilitate user acceptance testing (UAT) with business users, document feedback, and coordinate with the vendor to address concerns.
- Support the training of end-users on Yardi modules, emphasizing functionality and best practices.
- Monitor project progress, track implementation and customization milestones, and recommend corrective actions as needed.
- Collaborate with IT and finance teams to ensure accurate and timely system integration and data migration activities.
- Assist with post-implementation reviews and the ongoing optimization of business processes.
- Act as a point of contact for ongoing Yardi module support and enhancements.
- Oversee and manage the data migration process into the Yardi system, ensuring data accuracy and integrity.
- Coordinate with the vendor to ensure all Yardi modules are up-to-date and comply with relevant legal and regulatory requirements.
- Develop a comprehensive change management strategy for smooth system transition and adoption.
- Provide regular updates to senior management on the implementation progress.
- Establish and maintain a feedback loop with end-users post-implementation to capture insights for continuous improvement.Qualifications:- Post-secondary qualification in Business Administration, Information Systems, or a related field.
- Specific knowledge of Yardi software modules and the commercial real estate industry is highly desirable.
- Experience with data migration projects, particularly involving financial data.
- At least five years of experience as a Business Analyst or in a similar role, with a proven track record in software implementation projects, preferably Yardi or similar systems.Join our client\'s team and contribute to a significant project that will shape the future of their real estate mortgage operations.
