Job Description

Frank Illsley Woodworking is seeking a motivated individual to join the team in the truss shop.

This role includes:



-Organizing and keep lumber yard areas tidy as necessary

-Picking up loose materials, debris, and pallets in the yard

-Picking materials for truss assembly

-Assisting shipper in picking orders and loading trucks

-Assisting receiver with unloading and putting away of store stock

-Helping with opening and closing of yard each day (locking vehicles, gates, warehouses, etc.)

The ideal candidate will:



-Be available to work during regular store hours (Monday to Friday 7:00am to 3:30 pm)

-Have strong work ethic

-Possess the ability to keep busy and seek out tasks during downtime

-Be able to lift up to 50lbs.

-Fork lift operators' certificate will be considered an asset

Frank Illsley Woodworking offers:



One full-time term position available at 40 hours per week for 8 weeks, with a possibility of seasonal full-time employment in Spring 2026

Job Type: Fixed term contract
Contract length: 8 weeks

Pay: From $17.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week

Work Location: In person
