Can-Traffic Services Ltd. is a reputable construction company specializing in the installation and maintenance of street lights and traffic control devices across Alberta, Saskatchewan, and British Columbia. We are looking for a motivated Yard Labourer to support our operations at our Sherwood Park yard. This role will involve helping with inventory management, part pickups, and general maintenance of the yard.

What you will do Everyday:

Assist with yard inventory maintenance, ensuring materials are accurately received, organized, and issued. Pick and pack materials and parts for various projects. Support the assembly of street lights and other traffic control products. Perform small part pickups and deliveries to job sites or suppliers in the city. Operate hand power tools and equipment to assist with manufacturing tasks. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the yard, shop, and equipment. Assist with pre-trip and post-trip inspections, safety assessments, and related paperwork. Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor.

Skills Required:

Strong ability to multitask, manage priorities, and work in a fast-paced environment. Ability to follow detailed written and verbal instructions while maintaining focus and attention to safety. Excellent organizational skills and ability to meet deadlines. Good problem-solving and decision-making abilities. Physical stamina to lift, push, and move packages up to 50 lbs frequently. Comfortable working in both indoor and outdoor environments.

Qualifications Required:

High School Diploma or equivalent with 2 years related experience. Valid Class 5 Driver's License

Pay: $18.90-$24.15 per hour
