Position Summary...
The Workforce System/Payroll Clerk is a key support role within the Payroll Department, responsible for maintaining accurate employee records, supporting payroll processing, and ensuring the integrity of timekeeping and scheduling systems. This position works closely with the Workforce Systems Lead and Payroll team members to ensure smooth operations and compliance with internal policies and external regulations.
Timekeeping & Scheduling System Support
Monitor and respond to system-related action tickets to resolve issues promptly.
Collaborate with the Workforce Systems Lead to implement configuration changes and system updates.
Assist in maintaining accurate scheduling data and ensuring system functionality across all locations.
Workforce System & Payroll Administration
Distribute new hire packages and track completion to ensure timely onboarding.
Serve as a liaison between home locations and the payroll department to facilitate communication and resolve payroll issues.
Process personnel changes, including new hires, terminations, and updates to employee records.
Maintain and update leave of absence (LOA) details within the workforce system.
Administer employee benefits such as sick leave, vacation, statutory holidays, and float days in coordination with SSC.
Payroll Support Functions
Review and address daily payroll exceptions, including missed punches, late entries, and overtime discrepancies.
Provide coverage for the payroll department during staff absences, ensuring continuity of payroll operations.

What you bring...
Experience in payroll processing and familiarity with timekeeping/scheduling software systems.
Candidate must be very detail-oriented with strong organizational skills and be able to communicate effectively with our homes and internal office staff.
Candidate must have strong computer skills and intermediate experience with Microsoft 365 applications.
