Position Overview



We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented

Payroll Clerk

with proven administrative experience in a fast-paced business environment. This individual will play a key role in ensuring smooth payroll operations and supporting management with administrative tasks. This individual should be highly organized, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple tasks and meeting deadlines.

Collect time sheets and input payroll information into payroll system Maintain and update employee information, such as records of employee attendance, leave and overtime to calculate pay and benefit entitlements, using manual or computerized systems Employee onboarding Prepare, verify and process all employee payroll related payments, including regular pay, benefit payments, and special payments such as bonuses and vacation pay Complete, verify and process forms and documentation for administration both manually and electronically into ERP databases Provide information on payroll matters Compile, review, and monitor statistical reports, statements, and summaries related to payroll Identify and resolve payroll discrepancies Document company housing tracking and onboarding as it relates to payroll Maintaining and updating the training matrix for site specific training and company qualification Monitor and update field and shop trainings and on-site access up to date Entering and tracking of employee time into assigned projects in the ERP Reconcile ERP and Payroll System Other duties as assigned

Qualifications



5+ years of administrative experience, preferably in a service-based environment Administrative or Payroll diploma or equivalent experience required Knowledge of the oil and gas industry--understanding of terminology, operations, or field processes (preferred) Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook); experience with similar accounting software is a plus Strong organizational and multitasking skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team Administrative diploma or equivalent required; additional administrative training or certification preferred Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously Clear and professional communication skills (both verbal and written) Excellent command of the English language, including speaking, writing, and comprehension
Shift: Monday to Friday
Hours: 8 hours per day / 40 hours per week
