Job Summary



The Window Patch Machine Operator is responsible for the installation, fitting, operation and maintenance of the machine that applies the plastic film windows to the folding cartons. He ensures the quality of the finished product, the efficiency of the production process and compliance with the safety and quality standards in force.

It is a permanent day position, with a schedule from 7:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.

Key Responsibilities



Prepare, adjust and operate the Window Patch machine according to the technical specifications of the order. Install the required tools and materials (films, glue, dies, etc.). Make the necessary adjustments to ensure proper film alignment and precise application to the boxes. Monitor quality during production (transparency, air bubbles, cutting, gluing, positioning, etc.). Identify and correct mechanical or quality problems. Perform basic maintenance on the machine and report maintenance needs to the appropriate department. Comply with occupational health and safety standards and internal procedures. Maintain a clean and organized workspace. Complete production reports and track production quantities and releases. Collaborate with other departments (preparation, quality control, shipping) to ensure smooth operations. Any other related tasks.

Qualifications and Experience



Experience in a similar position in printing or packaging converting (a strong asset). Knowledge of the operation of Heiber + Schroder type machines or other similar equipment (an asset). Ability to make precise mechanical adjustments. Good manual dexterity and attention to detail. Ability to work standing for long periods of time. Sense of responsibility and autonomy. Rigor and respect for quality standards. Team player and positive attitude.
