Seamstress
J&L Window Coverings is seeking a full-time Seamstress Sewing Machine operator. The position is in Vancouver, BC.
Individuals must have an eye for design, be self-motivated, and organized, have great attention to detail, and be able to work in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.
Previous 3-5 years of experience in Drapery, Blinds are preferred.
Responsibilities for this role include:
Make made-to-measure drapery according to customers' specifications and fit requests using sewing machines. Design patterns to fit measurements Mark, cut, and sew fabric May alter and repair as required. Select and modify commercial patterns to customers' specifications Design, lay out, cut, sew, and press fabric, leather, and other materials into hats and related accessories. Fit, alter, and repair Fabric, Linin according to customers' requirements.
Wage based on candidate skills.
Schedule:
Monday to Friday

Pay: $18.00-$20.00 per hour
