MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES

Read and interpret welding blueprints or instructions; Check the dimensions and conformity of parts before assembly and welding work; Clean and polish parts to be welded if necessary; Plan the sequence of part assembly; Adjust, assemble, and secure structures using bolts, clamps, spot welding, or other methods; Select and set up welding equipment (gas); Weld, brush, grind, and polish welding excesses; Inspect the quality and penetration of welds and make corrections if necessary; Apply occupational health and safety rules; Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment; Perform any other related duties.
