Journeyperson Welder

to join our team in

Timmins, ON

. In this position, you'll be responsible for welding repairs, fabrication, and assembly on Komatsu and other heavy-duty industrial equipment. Experience in Line Boring is required for this role.



This role will either be a 7x7 or 14x14 shift rotation.

Travel allowance and accommodations are provided for the 14x14 shift.

Your Role

Repair and fabricate components for various types of mining and heavy equipment. Read and interpret layouts, blueprints, and work orders. Customize mobile equipment or parts based on customer requests. Support welding work in the shop and, on occasion, in the field. Conduct failure analysis and determine proper repair processes. Work safely with minimal supervision in a challenging environment.

What You Bring

Journeyperson Welder with Red Seal and CWB Certification Minimum of 3 years proven experience welding heavy equipment. Minimum of 3 years experience in Line Boring Strong blueprint reading and layout interpretation skills Safety-focused mindset with strong organizational skills Self-motivated and adaptable to fast-paced environments Solid interpersonal skills with the ability to work across teams Valid Class 5/G Driver's License
