We are looking for an experienced Production Welder/ General Labourer to join our team in Utopia, ON. Under the direction of a Production Supervisor, this position will be responsible for fabricating, assembling, fitting, and installing steel and/ or other metal components for our infrastructure products according to engineered drawings and blueprints.

Duties & Responsibilities

Setup and use of Mig, plasma, torch, grinder, drill, iron worker, transit, etc. Fitting and fabrication of new formwork Repair and service of existing formwork Read and interpret blueprints and mechanical drawings. Work effectively on a team as well as on an individual basis while maintaining tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment. Maintenance of equipment in a condition that follows proper LOTO procedures in accordance with our Health and Safety Policy/Procedure and the OHSA

Skills, Education & Experience

Strong mechanical skill required. Ability to interpret blueprints and shop drawings. Attention to detail and problem-solving skills. Overhead crane and rigging experience CWB Ticket required. 4 years minimum experience Skilled in the use of MIG, Stick, all positions Able to use wide variety of hand tools and equipment.
