We are seeking a skilled Welder to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical aptitude and the ability to read blueprints and schematics. As a Welder, you will be responsible for fabricating and assembling metal structures and components, ensuring high-quality standards are met throughout the welding process. This role requires proficiency in various welding techniques and the use of power tools to achieve precise results.

Responsibilities

Perform welding tasks on various materials, including steel, aluminum, and other metals. Read and interpret blueprints and schematics to determine project specifications. Assemble components according to design specifications using welding techniques. Utilize power tools and equipment safely and effectively to complete tasks. Conduct quality checks on completed welds to ensure adherence to standards. Maintain a clean and organized work area, ensuring compliance with safety regulations. Collaborate with team members to meet production goals and deadlines.

Experience

Proven experience in welding, with a strong understanding of various welding processes (MIG, TIG, Stick). Mechanical knowledge is essential for troubleshooting equipment issues. Familiarity with blueprint reading and schematic interpretation is highly desirable. Basic math skills for measurements and calculations are required. Proficiency in using calipers and other measuring tools to ensure accuracy in work. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

Job Type: Seasonal
Contract length: 4 months

Pay: $17.00-$25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
