Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Welder to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in various welding techniques. This role involves working on construction sites and in manufacturing environments, fabricating and assembling metal components to meet project specifications. A strong mechanical knowledge and the ability to work with hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment are essential for success in this position.

Responsibilities

Perform MIG, TIG, and FCAW welding on various materials including sheet metal and ductwork. Utilize hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment to fabricate metal components. Conduct quality checks Operate forklifts safely to move materials around the worksite. Engage in rigging activities as necessary for lifting heavy components. Follow safety standards to maintain compliance with industry regulations. Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently while adhering to safety protocols. Perform basic math calculations related to measurements and material requirements. Maintain a clean and organized work area to promote safety and efficiency.

Qualifications

Proven experience in welding, preferably in construction or manufacturing settings. Familiarity with various welding techniques including MIG, TIG, FCAW, and soldering. Experience with fabrication processes and assembly of metal structures. Strong mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience using tools such as plasma cutting machines, press brake machines, and other fabrication equipment. Knowledge of pipe threading techniques is a plus. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. Contract length: 8 months

Pay: $20.00-$28.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
