Position Posting: Weekend Cook

Are you looking for a new and exciting opportunity? Enjoy working with students of all ages and backgrounds? Need to work a few hours while you study? This may be the position for you!


We are currently looking for a weekend cook who would be responsible for preparing and assisting in the preparation of nutritional meals and snacks for our students and staff. As a boarding school our kitchen is open year-round (with the exception of winter and spring breaks)

What we offer

Potential Start Date: January 3,2026

Saturday and Sunday 6:00am-2:00pm or 5:30am-1:30pm

On-the-job training

Meal as a taxable benefit

$24.00/hour plus 4% in lieu of benefits

5 paid sick days after successful completion of 90 days employment

The ideal candidate has the following:

1-2 years kitchen experience

Is punctual, reliable and versatile

Able to perform manual tasks and physical demands as required within the duties such as periods of Standing, lifting, bending, and twisting

Positive with a caring attitude

Can work cooperatively and with minimal supervision

Trustworthy, and prompt

Requirements for this position:

Required to complete and pass the Solicitor General criminal record check for the purpose of working with children.

Food Safe Certificate an asset
