Web Developer

With an expertise in WordPress, your responsibility will be towards new clients\' web projects, existing clients\' websites as well as internal websites.

What will YOU be doing:

• Design and Development of client and internal websites built on WordPress
• Maintenance of client and internal websites and plugins / themes
• Client communication and management for web projects
• Configuring initial WordPress install for new projects on cPanel
• Updating content on internal and external websites
• Minimal cPanel maintenance
• Consult with new customers about web project needs and formulate a plan to build the website (ie theme creation or premium theme customization, plugin creation or installation etc\xe2\x80\xa6)
• Optimize website and pages using proper and up-to-date SEO methods and practices
• Build and design with digital marketing in mind
• Key Qualifications
• Experience developing websites using technologies such as HTML, CSS, Javascript, jQuery and PHP
• Knowledge of WordPress API is a plus
• Knowledge of cPanel is a plus
• Knowledge of Plugin and Theme Development is a plus
• Understanding and experience with WordPress CMS is a must
• Knowledge of SEO, proper procedures for good SEO and developing with SEO in mind is a must
• Detail oriented
• Extremely organized and self-motivated
• Enjoy problem-solving
• Thirst for knowledge and for continually learning and improving yourself
• Understand the DRY principles of coding and importance of writing clean code
• Know how to manage your own time and work independently without having to be micro-managed
• Understand and respect accountability and taking ownership
