A Toronto-based communications company is seeking a Junior .Net C# Web Developer for a full-time position starting immediately. Contract options are available upon inquiry. You should have 1-2 years of experience in .Net web development and a passion for web standards. You are eager to learn and share your knowledge, and want to participate in a culture of innovation and creativity.

Responsibilities:

• Work collaboratively with project teams to develop and execute engaging and usable interactive experiences.
• Develop standards-compliant and usable websites and contribute to site documentation. Perform ongoing site maintenance and updates.
• Participate in project processes, contribute to project completion, and be accountable to deadlines.
• Exercise best practices and current trends in web development.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years of experience in .Net web development using C#.
• Basic understanding of .Net MVC and component-based development.
• Basic knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript to build responsive, cross-browser compatible web pages.
• Basic knowledge of C# .NET, ASP.NET, and Entity Framework to build scalable, maintainable, and performant web applications.
• Basic understanding of database design and implementation using SQL Server, MySQL, or other relational databases.
• Basic knowledge of web application security best practices, such as input validation, output encoding, and secure authentication and authorization.
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies, such as Scrum or Kanban, to collaborate effectively with team members and deliver high-quality code.
• Continuous desire to learn and stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends and technologies to improve skills and build better web applications.
• Good organizational skills: Junior .Net C# Web Developers should be highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively.

Nice-to-haves:

• Familiarity with various industry-standard graphic and design tools such as Photoshop, Illustrator, Sketch, Zeplin, Figma, Principle, and diagramming/wireframing tools.
• Familiarity with other front-end frameworks like React, Angular, Vue.js, or Backbone.js.
• Familiarity with testing frameworks such as NUnit, MSTest, or
