Web Developer

Overview:

The Web Content Developer works primarily with the Marketing team to assist in developing and maintaining information, basic web functionality and advertising on TD SYNNEX Canada\'s Web site and Intranet sites, ensuring accuracy and consistency with Corporate Web sites. The incumbent will also identify areas for improvement and execute according to plan. The successful candidate will become the liaison with Clearwater Webmasters, Content providers, Support Staff, and Programmers to be consistent with global development and projects. This person will also present these technologies to internal staff, customers, suppliers and vendors when needed. The incumbent will have strong creativity and design skills in order to develop and publish effective internet and intranet content.

Manage content on TD SYNNEX Canada\xe2\x80\x99s external website and Intranet sites to ensure online content is accurate, and professional. Also facilitate/create front-end programming & graphic elements to be posted on TD SYNNEX\xe2\x80\x99s Intranets and Reseller websites. 35%

Work with Marketing to manage and develop vendor advertisements and promotional materials that are communicated to customers electronically. Areas include: monthly online advertisements, vendor resource centres, web promotions, and various e-mail communications, etc 35%

Manage various development projects on external website & Intranets, as well as other projects such as the co-op student program. Also assist internal & external customer relations to provide the best possible solutions for TD SYNNEX\xe2\x80\x99s electronic communication projects. 20%

Interface with the development team & webmasters at TD SYNNEX Corporation in order to maximize development efforts for continued enhancement of TD SYNNEX Canada electronic communication. Areas include: external website, secure & non-secure Intranets, databases and Web. 10%

Your passion is sparked by:

Web Development Diploma/Certificate and/or EC Certificate or Degree.

Must have Preferred Educational level: Training/Course in web design & development.

Specialties/Major Subjects: Wordpress, EC Technologies Photoshop & Illustrator HTML Hand Coding Skills, Microsoft SharePoint Multi-media EC Technologies Flash ASP/VBScript JavaScript.

Years of experience in the industry: 2+ years

NET Type of work experience: Web Content Development and Design, administrative work Web Programming, Management and Design, Project management and integrated systems software

Other related experiences: Electronic Commerce Experience:, Excel, Word Creativity and Design PowerPoint, Access, SQL, Sharepoint
