Inspect equipment on a regular basis
-

Monitor operating conditions, meters, and gauges
-

Collect and test water samples after various treatment phases
-

Record meter and gauge readings, and operational data
-

Operate equipment to clarify water, and to process and dispose of solid waste
-

Clean and maintain equipment, tanks, filters, and other work areas
-

Complete and maintain plant logs and reports
-

Monitor and read instruments to detect equipment malfunctions and ensure plant systems and equipment are operating within prescribed limits
-

Ensure safety standards are met in accordance with company policies and the OHSA
-

Add chemicals and adjust feed rates
-

Other duties as they are assigned

High School education required
-

Degree in math or science considered an asset
-

Must be able to work alone and in a team environment
-

Physical dexterity is a must
-

Must be able to endure long periods of sitting, standing, walking, bending, crouching, and kneeling
-

Attention to detail
-

Steel toed safety shoes are required
-

Must be comfortable doing repetitive tasks and lifting heavy loads
-

You are able to work 12 hour shifts and follow a continental schedule
-

This role offers an hourly wage of $17.85 per hour.
