The person in this position will lift, assemble, pack products or equipment, load and unload trucks with the help of forklift and leads the warehouse team in the Branch to follows Master policies and procedures.

Principal tasks:

Provide quality customer service, including interacting with customers, answering customer enquiries, and effectively handle customer complaints;
Pick and pack goods in trucks, using forklift;
Count stock, sort, wrap, weigh and all other related functions;
Stock shelves and stock counts;
Address warehouse employees\' questions, assist with problems, and oversee team work for quality and guideline compliance and communicate set deadlines and goals to the team;
Ensure that daily operations are conducted in accordance with the health and safety standards and policies;
Assist the Branch Director with training new employees for the Warehouse;
Maintain a safe and clean work environment by keeping shelves, work areas clean;
Various other related duties as assigned by supervisor such as opening containers & crates, preparing orders, inventory, etc...;
Abide by all company safety regulations;
Organizing and scheduling deliveries.

Requirements:

Completion of secondary school;
Previous supervisory experience in a warehouse setting (an asset);
Knowledge of MS Office programs;
Forklift certification;
Damaged goods certification;
Transportation Dangerous good handling;
Lead by example, motivate and train staff;
Team player;
Ability to work well under pressure;
Excellent communication skills;
Good organization skills;
Initiative and resourcefulness;
Efficiency;
Diplomacy and courtesy.
