We are looking for an experienced Warehouse Team Lead in Markham.

Job responsibilities:

Administer and execute the activities of receiving operations
Ensure accurate and timely receipt of merchandise
Coordinate all inbound shipments throughout the receiving area to maintain an efficient flow of merchandise
Maintain safety compliance on forklifts, dock doors, lights and restraints
Maintain receiving accuracy rate of 100% through enforcement of all procedures and policies
Ensure the timely investigation of discrepancies and follow-up training on all errors
Ensure proper merchandise handling techniques are used to prevent product damage and shrink
Develop and coach team members to achieve department goals and objectives

Qualification :

High School Diploma or equivalent
Minimum 2 years of operations or logistics experience, ideally in a shipping/receiving capacity
At least 1 year of supervisory experience
Demonstrated ability to lead and motivate a team-oriented workforce
A working understanding of warehouse management systems
Proven experience managing personnel to meet operational objectives
Strong at multitasking and task delegation
Organized and detail oriented.
Ability to perform data analysis and reporting using Excel

Salary $50,000/year
