The WarehouseOperations Manager (Distribution / Sales) will report directly to the Director, Operations, and is responsible for management of cost-effective operations including warehouse & distribution; facilities and customer service/sales support aspects in the branch environment. Duties & Responsibilities
  • Manage all aspects of the branch\xe2\x80\x99s physical layout and facilities.
  • Control branch inventory as per applicable Company procedures.
  • Control all physical product into and out of the warehouse including receiving, shipping, stock replenishment, recharge, damaged products and used batteries.
  • Oversee effective sales and service support, which includes partnering with the Sales Team to resolve customer issues and taking escalated and / or more complex customer concerns
  • Develop and maintain the team by providing effective communication, training, coaching, and conducting effective performance evaluations
  • Ensure a safe and efficient warehouse environment at all times.
  • Track and provide appropriate management reporting (key performance indicators).
Experience, Skills & Competencies:
  • Post-secondary education in a business or customer service-related discipline.
  • 3 to 6 years related experience preferably in a warehouse or distribution setting.
  • 3 to 5 years management experience.
  • Solid knowledge of logistics and distribution.
  • Proven ability to manage, lead, and provide an environment within which employees are self-motivated to meet performance standards.
  • Customer focused with the ability to coach others for exceptional customer service orientation.
  • Ability to troubleshoot, identify and resolve issues in a timely manner.
  • Ability to work well under pressure with deadlines and changing priorities.
  • Strong organization skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Knowledge of Windows Office suite (Word, Excel)
  • Knowledge of automotive battery applications and specifications definite asset
  • Experience with SAP an asset
